Target customer sues over slip and fall at Cicero store

A woman is suing over claims she was injured on the wet floor of a suburban Target.

Maria Sepulveda filed a lawsuit July 16 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Target Corp. and Cicero Target Store, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Sepulveda was at the Target on South Cicero Avenue in Cicero on July 23, 2012, when she slipped on a wet substance on the floor and sustained injuries. The defendants are accused of negligence.

Sepulveda is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by the Law Offices of Michael S. Hedrick LLC.
