A man suffered various injuries after slipping on a wet floor at an area Applebee's, according to a recently filed lawsuit.

Felipe Solorio filed a lawsuit Oct. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against Applebee's, Applebee's Restaurants Inc.  and Applebee's International Inc.

In his complaint, Solorio alleges he was visiting an Applebee's in Calumet City on Oct. 28, 2012, when he slipped on a wet floor and sustained injuries.

He blames the defendants for causing his fall, saying they negligently caused water to remain on the floor, failed to adequately warn of water, failed to proper mopping policies and failed to provide enough warning or wet floor signs to provide him with adequate notice, among other acts.

Solorio is seeking a judgment of more than $150,000, plus costs, and is represented  by Andrea L. Thompson of The Vrdolyak Law Group in Chicago.
