A woman is suing the owner of multiple dogs she claims attacked her without provocation.

Antoinette Mitchell filed a complaint Nov. 19 in Cook County Circuit Court against Danielle Brock Bryant.

According to the complaint, Bryant owned several dogs and kept them at her home on South Dorchester Avenue on Sept. 18, 2012, when Mitchell claims they attacked and bit her on her right leg and side of her body.

Mitchell alleges she sustained severe and permanent injuries as a result of the incident, which caused her to incur medical costs and pain and suffering.

She seeks damages, plus court costs, and is represented by attorney Melanie J. VanOverloop of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen in Chicago.

This is a report on a civil lawsuit filed at Cook County Circuit Court. The details in this report come from an original complaint filed by a plaintiff.
