A woman is suing the owner of a movie theater chain over injuries she allegedly sustained in a fall at one of its Chicago locations.

Leslie Niesse filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against Kerasotes Showplace Theatres, doing business as Kerasotes Showplace ICON Theatre Chicago.

According to the complaint, Niesse was a business invitee at the theater at 1011 South Delano Court East on July 30, 2013, when she fell on a freshly mopped and cleaned floor.

She claims Kerasotes Showplace Theatres should have been aware of the dangerous condition, but negligently allowed the wet floor to remain in an unsafe condition and failed to warn her of the wet floor by placing a standard triangle cone in the area.

Niesse is represented by attorney Gregory G. Balos of the Law Offices of Gregory G. Balos in Chicago.
