Nava ph 150x150

A Chicago man is being sued over claims his two dogs attacked another man.

Antonio Gallardo filed suit in Cook County Circuit Court on Jan. 8 against Joseph Agliata, alleging negligence and violations of the Illinois Animal Control Act.

According to the complaint, Gallardo was lawfully walking on the public alleyway adjacent to the rear of 2011 W. 18th St. in Chicago on Aug. 16, 2014, when Agliata's two pit bulls attacked him without provocation.

Gallardo alleges Agliata negligently failed to properly house and restrain the two dogs and protect Gallardo from being attacked by them. Gallardo alleges he suffered injuries as a result of the attack.

He is represented by attorney Phillip R. Nava of Gloor Law Group in Chicago.
