A woman is suing the owner of a Chicago nursing home over claims she slipped because the hallway floor was covered with what she believes was urine.
Julie Fisk filed a premises liability lawsuit Jan. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against Woodbridge Nursing Pavilion Ltd.
According to the complaint, Fisk was at the nursing home at 2242 N. Kedzie Blvd. visiting a relative on July 17, 2014, when she slipped and fell on urine on the floor, causing her to sustain injuries.
Fisk alleges Woodbridge Nursing Pavilion failed to clean or inspect the floor after having been notified of the existence of liquid substance and didn't warn visitors of the hazardous condition.
She is represented by Chicago attorney David M. Sternberg of Sachs Earnest & Associates.
