A man is suing over a motorcycle collision that killed his wife.
Ronald Kirchman Jr., as special administrator of the estate of Karin M. Kirchman, filed a lawsuit Jan. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against an unknown woman.
According to the complaint, Kirchman was operating a motorcycle, on which Karin was riding as a passenger, eastbound on state Highway 24 on July 20, 2014, when the woman crossed the center line separating traffic and struck his motorcycle. Karin Kirchman died as a result of the collision, the suit states.
Kirchman is represented by Michael T. Mertz of Hurley McKenna & Mertz in Chicago.
