A DuPage County woman is suing over claims she was injured in a car accident by another driver while traveling northbound along Interstate 55.
Inga Vaitenas filed a lawsuit July 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Frank J. Drabes Jr. and Intermodal Maintenance Group LLC, citing negligence.
According to the claim, Vaitenas was struck from behind while immobile in traffic by Panaraj D. Liwang Worawan’s vehicle, which was initiated by Drabes Jr’s Intermodal Maintenance Group vehicle, which had ample time to stop.
Vaitenas is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for Drabes Jr’s negligence to not stop his vehicle in time causing Vaitenas to suffer multiple injuries from the accident, which has prevented her from leading a normal life, the claim states.
