A Cook County woman is suing a Naperville hospital and medical group, alleging negligence regarding medication she was given while she was a patient.

Junli Wang filed a lawsuit Sept. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against Edward Health Ventures doing business as either Linden Oaks Medical Group or Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 18, 2013, Wang was under the defendants’ care for major depressive disorder when she was given medicine that made her dizzy, which allegedly caused her to fall and suffer injuries.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants’ staff was negligent in failing to monitor her while she received the medication.

Wang seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus litigation costs. She is represented by attorneys Randall F. Peters of Randall F. Peters & Associates in Chicago, and Christopher Carroll of the Law Office of Christopher Carroll in Aurora.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015-L-009552.
