A Cook County woman is suing her dentist, alleging malpractice involving restorations of 14 of her teeth.

Svetlana Kramenkof filed a lawsuit Aug. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Thomas J. Seretis and his dental practice, Charles D. Goodsite and Thomas J. Seretis based in Schaumburg.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 1, 2013, Seretis failed to properly prepare Kramenkof’s teeth for  restoration, including removing all decay, contouring the new teeth to look natural and ensuring proper occlusion with opposing teeth.

The plaintiff alleges as a result of the negligence, she lost valuable time, suffered from pain and anguish and will owe large sums for future corrective medical and dental care.

Kramenkof seeks a jury trial and damages of more than $50,000. She is represented by attorneys Kourosh Arami of the Arami Law Office in Chicago and Robert A. Stavins of Stavins & Associates in Waukegan.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015-L-008894.
