CHICAGO — A Woodridge patient is suing a Chicago dentist, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Deanna Valentino filed a lawsuit May 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against Emily Park-Drahos and Lee Drahos PC, alleging failure to to provide proper dental care.

According to the complaint, between May 15-June 17, 2014, Valentino suffered severe injuries to her left eye as a result of improper extraction made to her tooth. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to properly diagnose and treat her condition, which led to a more serious health problem.

Valentino seeks judgment of more than $100,000, plus court costs. She is represented by attorney R. Steven Polachek of Polachek & Polachek in Barrington.
