Motorist, vehicle owner face wrongful death allegation

Car accident 30

CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased man's estate is suing driver Zachary Sipe and vehicle owner Charles Sipe in a wrongful death claim stemming from a collision.

Anna Wierzbicki, as special administrator of the estate of Peter Wierzbicki, filed a complaint on Aug. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that Zachary Sipe failed to properly control his vehicle, causing it to collide with Peter Wierzbicki's vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in July, Peter Wierzbicki sustained severe physical injuries in a collision that resulted in his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because Zachary Sipe, driving Charles Sipe's vehicle, allegedly failed to yield the right of way, entered Peter Wierzbicki's lane and collided with his car.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of the jurisdictional limits of this court and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Cannon D. Lambert, Sr. of Karchmar & Lambert, P.C. in Chicago.
