CHICAGO — An individual is suing Cook County, d/b/a Provident Hospital, alleging negligence in medical care.
Adelaida Delgado filed a complaint on Aug. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant, alleing that Provident Hospital failed to provide proper medical care to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in December 2015, she sustained physical injuries as the result of a surgery. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly injuring the plaintiff's conus medullaris and spinal cord.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of $50,000. She is represented by Edward W. McNabola of McNabola & Associates, LLC in Chicago.
