Patient claims improper treatment in podiatric care

CHICAGO — A patient is suing Todd Lewis, D.P.M., and Whitney Castle, D.P.M., alleging negligence in podiatric care.

Gregory Outlaw filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide him with proper treatment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in August 2014, he experienced pain and damages that required him to undergo additional treatment. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly perform surgery on him by placing an incorrect sized screw on a bone.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Joseph R. Curcio of Curcio Law Offices in Chicago.
