Dental implant patient claims assembly was too large

CHICAGO — A patient is suing Karen Blair, D.D.S.; Dentistry by Design, P.C.; Marmar Modarressi, D.D.S.; and Periodontal Associates, LLP, alleging negligence in dental care.

John Maguire filed a complaint on Aug. 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide him with proper dental care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he experienced pain from being implanted with an assembly which was too large. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly using an incorrect assembly.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Timothy I. McArdle of McArdle Frost in Chicago.
