CHICAGO — A patient is suing Dr. Mark Arnett, MacNeal Physicians Group LLC and VHS of Illinois Inc. d/b/a MacNeal Hospital, alleging negligence in medical care.
Judith Citta filed a complaint on Aug. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide her with proper medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2014 and 2015, she experienced permanent physical injuries in connectin with a late diagnosis of lung cancer. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible allegedly failing to properly her chest X-ray, resulting in late treatment of her lung cancer.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $100,000. She is represented by Mark P. Munninghoff of Munday & Nathan in Chicago.
