Law money 08

CHICAGO — A man is suing limo service Rokstars Chicago and one of its passengers, identified in the complaint as Corry Simmons, alleging the limo company didn't do enough to stop the passenger from allegedly injuring the plaintiff.

Kyle Schacke filed a complaint on Aug. 19 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant company, alleging that it allowed passengers including defendant Simmons to assault him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 8, 2012, he sustained physical injuries from being physically attacked. The plaintiff holds Rokstars Chicago and Corry Simmons responsible because the defendant company allegedly allowed defendant Simmons to be intoxicated and assault the plaintiff on a sidewalk.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants of more than $50,000. He is represented by Sean M. Houlihan of Power Rogers & Smith, P.C. in Chicago.
