CHICAGO — A patient is suing dentists, identified in the complaint as Dhiraj Sharma, DDS, and Rauf Abdul Yousuf, DMD, and their dental practices, identified as American Dental Associates, Ltd., and Archer Dental Specialists Inc., alleging they improperly provided him with an ill-fitting denture, which pulled out several dental implants.
Mark P. Stevenson filed a complaint on Aug. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide him with proper dental care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2014, he sustained permanent physical damages due to improper care. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly providing him with the denture.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants of more than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Anthony J. Peraica of Anthony J. Peraica & Associates, Ltd. in Chicago.
