Autohaus on Edens accused of violating wage laws

CHICAGO — A man has filed a class-action lawsuit against Autohaus on Edens LLC, Michael Rosengarden and Mark Tames, his employers, citing alleged breach of contract, unpaid wages and violation of wage laws.

Igor Gorkov filed a complaint on Sept. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate him for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from not being paid the correct wage for his work as a service technician. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly making improper deductions from his pay.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $30,000 plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by James X. Bormes and Catherine P. Sons of Law Offices of James X. Bormes, P.C. in Chicago and Kasif Khowaja of The Khowaja Law Firm, LLC. in Chicago.
