CHICAGO — A woman's family is suing Heather Health Care Center Inc., The Alden Group, and Alden Management Services Inc., alleging negligence in nursing home care.
Ethel Johnson by her appointed power of attorney, Keith Johnson, filed a complaint on Sept. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Ethel Johnson.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Ethel Johnson suffered from the development of multiple pressure ulcers, after the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision at all times to her.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Matthew Baker of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
