CHICAGO — A customer is suing P.F. Chang's, claiming something in his meal caused him to break several teeth.
David Gutierrez filed a complaint on Oct. 3 in Cook County Circuit Court against P.F. Chang's China Bistro Inc. alleging that the establishment failed to inspect the food it served him.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 17, 2014, he suffered physical injuries when a foreign object broke into pieces inside his mouth and broke several of his teeth. The plaintiff holds P.F. Chang's responsible because the defendant allegedly neglected its duty by failing to ensure that its food was free of any foreign objects that could cause injuries.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Mark L. Fromm of Kumlin and Fromm, Ltd. in Chicago.
