Vasilko Architects & Associates claims it wasn't paid for services

Law money 13

CHICAGO — An architecture firm is suing its clients for allegedly failing to pay for services.

Vasilko Architects & Associates Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court against Phil Moeller, Carefree Development LLC, St. Boniface Senior Living Foundation, St. Boniface Senior Living LLC, Mark R. Ordower and Lawrence Ordower, citing alleged breach of contract, failure to pay for completed work and unpaid debt.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered damages from not being paid for architectural services rendered. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly breached their contractual obligation to the plaintiff by not paying for architectural services and attempting to sell the St. Boniface property without the plaintiff's consent.

The plaintiff seeks to enjoin the defendant, dissociate Carefree Development LLC from St. Boniface LLC and terminate Phil Moeller, hold the defendants responsible for the debts and obligations of St. Boniface LLC since its dissolution and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Douglas C. Tibble of Brooks, Tarulis & Tibble, LLC in Naperville.
