CHICAGO — A patron is suing Adrianna's Banquets Inc., 163rd & Dixie Highway LLC., Sher Services Inc. and Alicia Finlay, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries, after he was struck by a bottle thrown by others at the banquet hall involved in a fight.

Sean C. Tyus filed a complaint on Sept. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide sufficient supervision and security within their premises.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 1, he suffered physical injuries when he was struck in the forehead by a glass bottle that had been thrown as part of an altercation involving other patrons. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly control the other patrons within their premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by John C. Wunsch of John C. Wunsch, P.C. in Chicago.
