Smart Tech Homes, associated people, entities, accused of not disclosing defects in home

CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against Smart Tech Homes, and associated business entities; and Andriy Stetsyuk, alleges breach of contract in connection with home defects.

Timothy and Sara Suh filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they sold the plaintiffs a property that has several defects.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages from purchasing a property that has faulty materials and workmanship, which were not disclosed by the defendants at the time of purchase. 

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs and punitive damages, and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Andrew E. Kolb of Vanek, Larson & Kolb, LLC in St. Charles.
