CHICAGO — A deceased woman's family has filed a wrongful death claim against Silver Cross Hospital, a physician, identified as Silvio Morales, M.D., and EM Strategies Ltd., alleging negligence in medical care led to her cardiac arrest.
James Gill, individually and as independent administrator of the estate of Jennifer Gill, filed a complaint on Oct. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Jennifer Gill.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants' actions caused or contributed to Jennifer Gill's cardiopulmonary arrest. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly evaluate the results of Jennifer Gill's EKG findings and provide the appropriate treatment necessary to address her condition.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of the jurisdictional limits of the court. He is represented by John B. Kralovec of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
