Law money 07

CHICAGO — A woman who is the administrator of her deceased father's estate has filed a wrongful death claim against a driver and her employer, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Renee Kim, as special administrator of the estate of Kwang Kim, filed a complaint on Oct. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against Feng Zhang and Medtec Healthcare & Private Duty Corporation, alleging that Zhang, while driving a Medtec vehicle being used to transport Kwang Kim in January, was negligently involved in a collision, causing Kim to suffer serious injuries, which contributed to his death in May.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for alleged negligence while driving and for allegedly allowing incompetent drivers to drive patients.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for all damages and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Erron H. Fisher and Michael J. LaMonica of Fisher & Lamonica, P.C. in Chicago.
