CHICAGO — A woman is suing Presence Resurrection Medical Center and several doctors, identified as Godwin H. D'Souza, Stanislaw Maslanka, James Brown, Fadi Habib, Marek Malko, Anna Gopaniuk-Folga and Nicolaos Abariotis, alleging improper care.
Maureen C. Maher filed a complaint on Oct. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she received improper or substandard care in a variety of ways and that the defendants bear responsibility. She seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus any further relief the court grants. She is representing herself before the court.
