CHICAGO — A deceased man's family has filed a wrongful death claim against Sanjeev Pradhan, M.D., and Vascular Specialists S.C., alleging negligence in medical care.
Lela Karvas, special administrator of the estate of Steve Karvas, filed a complaint on Oct. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Steve Karvas.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Steve Karvas did not receive appropriate treatment fast enough and that the delay contributed to his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for that alleged delay.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Bryan Hofeld of Hofeld and Schaffner in Chicago.
