Man alleges late wife was prescribed too high of dose of fentanyl, oxymorphone

CHICAGO – A La Grange Park man alleges his late wife's death was caused by a too high dose of prescription drugs.

Matthew Hohman, independent administrator of the estate of Veronica Lee Hohman, filed a complaint on Oct. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against the APAC Centers for Pain Management, also known as APAC Groupe Centers for Pain Management; APAC Partners LLC; and Thomas Pang, M.D. alleging wrongful death.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges his wife was overdosed with oxymorphone and fentanyl, prescribed by the APAC defendants.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Kent M. Lucaccioni, of Chicago.
