CHICAGO — A patient is suing Premier Pain Specialists LLC, Premier Pain & Spine LLC and Omar Said, M.D., alleging medical negligence.
Mary Ann Elam filed a complaint on Dec. 22 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide her with adequate care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that after surgery, she was placed in a recovery room, where she fell, fracturing her femur and ribs. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide her with proper care while in the recovery room to address her risk of falling.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Richard F. Burke, Jr. of Clifford Law Offices, P.C. in Chicago.
