CHICAGO — A woman is suing Westchester Health and Rehabilitation Center on behalf of a deceased relative, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Geri Socha, as independent administrator to collect for the estate of Frances K. Trtilek, filed a complaint on April 26 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging the nursing facility failed to provide proper care to Trtilek.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Trtilek suffered injuries to her right shoulder because of neglect and lack of proper care. The plaintiff holds Westchester Health and Rehabilitation Center responsible because it allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to Trtilek while she was being cared for in its facility.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Thomas A. Reuland of Keating Law Offices in Chicago.
