CHICAGO — A woman is suing General Medical Devices Inc. for negligence and product liability.
Louise Walden filed a complaint on Aug. 18 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendant manufactured and sold a defective product to the public.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges she sustained serious physical injuries and incurred medical expenses from using a device that is designed to treat female urinary incontinence. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to warn her of the defective nature of the device
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by R. Joseph Kramer of Marc J. Bern & Partners LLP in Chicago.
