The Grove of Evanston Living & Rehab Center, others allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling

CHICAGO — A woman is suing The Grove of Evanston Living & Rehab Center, Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC and Progressive Healthcare Consulting LLC for allegedly taking insufficient to prevent a relative's injuries.

Rose Wingfield, plenary guardian to the estate and person of Howard Wingfield, filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Wingfield experienced pain and injuries from suffering a fall. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Wingfield to address his risk of falling.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Jared M. Reynolds of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
