CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing several health providers for allegedly failing to properly diagnose a patient's medical condition.

Family Medicine for McHenry County, Centegra Hospital-Woodstock, Centegra Health & Wellness Network, Advocate Heart Institute, Advocate Medical Group, Advocate Physician Partners, Center for Cardiovascular Excellence S.C., Dr. Stuart Michael Lesser and Dr. Paresh Rawal are listed as defendants.

Denise Shadle, independent administrator of the estate of David Shadle, filed a complaint on Nov. 3 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants left David Shadle's endocarditis untreated, which allegedly allowed it to worsen and contributed to the deterioration of his overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose David Shadle's condition and provide the necessary treatment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants for incidental damages, general damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Cindy G. Fluxgold of Goldstein, Fluxgold & Baron P.C. in Chicago.
