CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Isobel S. Thomas and Clifford Law Offices P.C. for alleged negligence.
Mark Michel, independent administrator of the estate of Robert Brian Michel, filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly discover the identity of the defendants in a wrongful death suit, leading to the dismissal of the action.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly represent him, including allegedly failing to update him on the status of the action when a motion to dismiss was already in place, as well as allegedly failing to discover the identity of the defendants.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $30,000 in compensatory damages. He is represented by Mark E. McNabola and Donald R. McGarrah of McNabola Law Group P.C. in Chicago.
