CHICAGO — An individual is suing dentist Sethurama Muthuramaswami and American Family Dental Care P.C. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Thomas Hawkins filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants caused an arterial bleed when they extracted his wisdom tooth on Aug. 3, 2010.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court plus court costs. He is represented by Randall F. Peters & Associates in Chicago.
