CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Nazir Kahn, Dr. Steven Comrov and Thorek Memorial Hospital for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Ellen Sims filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she developed steal syndrome and compartment syndrome, which allegedly causing great pain that needed further medical attention, while in the defendants' care. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose her medical conditions and provide the necessary treatment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Jonathan B. Fleisher of Karlin, Fleisher & Falkenberg LLC in Chicago.
