CHICAGO — Several poeple are suing the city of Park Ridge, Park Ridge Appearance Commission, Margaret Drewko, Brian Kidd, Kim Kuhlman, Nicholas Norman, Ellen Upton, Steve Steffens and Vine Place LLC for alleged violation of the city's zoning ordinance.

Karen Sloma, Krystyna Docherty, Laurence Docherty, Joseph Foss, Linda Foss, R. John Hildebrand, Rawn Reinhard, Christy Reinhard, Neil Wagner and Jennifer Wagner filed a complaint on Nov. 3 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants constructed a 22-unit residential mixed-use development that violates the city's Urban Design Guidelines.

The plaintiffs seek void the certificate of approval for failure to comply with the Urban Design Guidelines, declare that the guidelines must be enforced, permanent injunction against the issuance of a new certificate of approval unless it is issued pursuant to the guidelines, revoke the defendants' certificate of approval and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Peter M. Stasiewicz of Arcturus Law Firm in Chicago.
