CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Eugene Lopez and Midwest Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Surgical Specialists Ltd. for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Mary Ann Button filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants left untreated her tuberosity fracture during surgery.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court plus court costs. She is represented by Eric D. Jones of Tarpey, Jones & Schroeder LLC in Chicago.
