CHICAGO — A woman is suing Pine Crest Health Care LLC, Premier Healthcare & Financial Services Inc. and a nurse for alleged negligence.
Sandra Brooks, independent administrator of the estate of Geneva Harris, filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Harris experienced suffered a fall, which allegedly contributed to the deterioration of her overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to implement a care plan to properly address Harris' risk of falling or provide her with adequate assistance.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Susan L. Novosad of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
