CHICAGO — A man is suing Manorcare Health Services - Palos Heights West for alleged negligence.
Danny Gecan, independent executor of the estate of Virginia Gecan, filed a complaint on Nov. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Gecan fell from her wheelchair, allegedly causing a hip fracture and head injury, while in the defendants' care. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Gecan to prevent her from falling.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Elizabeth R. Olszewski of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in Waukegan.
