CHICAGO — An estate administrator is suing Brentwood Sub-Acute Healthcare Center and a nurse for alleged negligence.
Susan Schaller, independent administrator for the estate of Joyce Olson, filed a complaint on Nov. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Olson experienced respiratory distress and a urinary tract infection that allegedly contributed to the deterioration of her health while in the defendants' care. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to adequately supervise and assist Olson to prevent her from developing those conditions.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Michael Bonamarte and Andrew J. Thut of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
