Symphony Crestwood LLC, others allegedly failed to prevent patient from falling, developing pressure sores

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Symphony Crestwood LLC, Symphony Financial Services LLC and Symphony Post Acute Network for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Mae McLeninen, independent administrator of the estate of Walterella Thomas, filed a complaint on Nov. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Thomas suffered a fall and developed pressure sores and ulcers while in the defendants' care. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Paul G. O'Toole of Salvato & O'Toole in Chicago.
