Erika's Home Spa allegedly allowed unlicensed employees to perform procedure, harmed client's face

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Erika's Home Spa for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Inga Kevliciene filed a complaint on Nov. 17 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she experienced pain from the severe shock allegedly done to her nervous system as a result of certain chemicals applied to her face. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly allowing unlicensed employees to perform the procedure on her face.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Vincent Petrosino and Kevin J. O'Shea of Serpico, Petrosino, DiPiero & O'Shea Ltd. in Chicago.
