CHICAGO — Two people are suing Dr. Aaron Berger and Associated Urological Specialists LLC for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Stanley Barwock and Lynn Avery filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly perform a kidney removal procedure on Barwock, which allegedly caused further medical complications, including heart problems.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court cost. They are represented by Michael B. Stillman and Robert WIlder of Odelson & Sterk Ltd. in Evergreen Park.
