CHICAGO — A woman is suing Advocate Trinity Hospital, Advocate Physician Partners, Anointed Health Partners Ltd. and doctors Gregory Smith and Ronald Lawton for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Dolores Brown, special administrator of the estate of Jerry Brown, filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging the defendants failed to properly diagnose Brown's abnormal heart rate, which allegedly contributed to the deterioration of his overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to obtain cardiac enzymes from Jerry Brown and order an EKG to properly assess his condition.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Craig P. Manmarino and Amanda L. Brasfield of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
