CHICAGO — A woman is suing Palos Community Hospital and Dr. Yunus T. Nomanbhoy for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.
Debra Zakrajsek, independent administrator of the estate of Louise Zakrajsek, filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Louise Zakrajsek sustained serious physical injuries, including acute respiratory failure, after defendants allegedly failed to intubate her when she allegedly began showing signs of diminished mental awareness.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Kevin W. O'Connor of O'Connor Law Firm Ltd in Chicago.
