CHICAGO — A woman is suing Lexington of Orland Park for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries and wrongful death.

Carma Bright, independent executor of the estate of Samuel Cucci Jr., filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging Cucci Jr. developed pressure ulcers and an infection that allegedly contributed to the deterioration of his overall health, while in the defendants' care, contributing to his death.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Kristen N. Koeller of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates P.C. in Chicago.
