Carrozza Foot Clinic allegedly failed to detect infection

Medical malpractice 05

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Dr. Lewis Carrozza and Carrozza Foot Clinic for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent injuries.

Corinne Tromp filed a complaint on Nov. 29 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she sustained serious and permanent injuries, including a severe infection that allegedly required further medical attention to treat. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to recognize the signs of infection and provide her with the necessary antibiotics.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that will adequately compensate her for her losses, as well as any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Michael L. Teich of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd. in Chicago.
