Mother Theresa Home allegedly failed to prevent woman from slipping on elevator floor

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Franciscan Communities Mother Theresa Home for alleged liability and negligence.

Mary Crothers filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in Cook County Circuit Court, alleging she slipped and fell on the floor on July 16, 2016, which allegedly caused her to sustain injuries and become disabled and disfigured. The plaintiff holds the defendant for allegedly failing to warn her about the slippery elevator floor.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by James I. Power of Power Rogers & Smith P.C. in Chicago.
